Biography

Teacher . . . entrepreneur . . . advocate . . . reformer . . . communicator . . . learner . . . systems thinker . . . minister . . . administrator . . . spiritual coach and companion--many are the descriptors that combine to define my journey. 

 

With diverse interests, I am drawn to seeking deeper understandings of God.  That great thirst facilitates how I employ my self-understanding, how I strive to show up in the world, and how I aim to engage with others.  My great dream is that people deepen their own relational understandings of the Divine and in turn, respond to their unique callings. Yet, I am learning that it is essential to allow others to experience their own journeys.  Thus, my role is often to ask a prompting question or share an observation in hopes of its welcome. That role is lived out in the offering of spiritual direction and life coaching . . . in the occasional sermon or classroom lesson shared.  Wrapped into my unique calling is a desire to transfigure education and local communities in a way that empowers people to flourish and to find peace. To that end, I am looking forward to launching a new initiative in the coming years.  I hope you will stay tuned to learn more.
